Management of FISS LogonsUnder HIPAA regulation, Highmark Medicare Services is asking that every user of the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) have a unique user ID for greater accountability and security. This unique id is not to be used by anyone other than the person it is assigned to. Please remember that if data is mishandled in any way, the provider will be held responsible in accordance with Medicare requirements. Therefore, we ask for your compliance in guaranteeing the utmost security. If you require a new Part A FISS/HIQA Logon ID - please complete the appropriate form below:
ATTENTION NEW JERSEY PROVIDERS If you need to gain access to additional provider numbers, please submit the change form below by clicking on the New Jersey Providers (12401). Highmark Medicare Services will not assign new Logon ID’s for each provider you are accountable for. The provider numbers you wish to add will be added to your existing Logon ID. Thank you for your understanding. Note: If you are a vendor, billing agency, and/or a 3rd party clearinghouse seeking access to FISS, please seek a written authorization letter from the provider you are servicing, granting your agency authorization to access their Medicare Data.
