Highmark Medicare Services has been conducting due diligence activities to identify differences between our current business model and our new MAC model in order to communicate possible impacts to you. To date, we have identified the following impacts for our PA/MD/DC Part A providers:
- New Telephone Numbers for use with J12 MAC
- New contractor workload ID
- New local medical policies for the jurisdiction
- Dark Days expected during cutover
- Change to a daily payment cycle (MD/DC Part A Providers Only)
