Highmark Medicare Services has been conducting due diligence activities to identify differences between our business model and those of your current contractor in order to communicate possible impacts to you. To date, we have identified the following impacts for the MD/DCMA/DC Part B providers:

  • New PO Box Numbers for use with J12 MAC
  • New Telephone Numbers for use with J12 MAC
  • Fax on Demand Option, available through IVR
  • Telephone Reopening Process
  • Medical Records are not accepted via FAX
  • No replacement voucher via IVR
  • New EDI Platform (Stratus)
  • New contractor workload ID
  • New EDI submitter and logon IDs
  • EFT Re-enrollment (CMS-588) required
  • No Professional Provider Terminal Network (PPTN) capability exists for Part B Providers
  • New local medical policies for the jurisdiction
